CAR T therapy is a rapidly expanding area of research for cancer treatment. So far these “living drugs” are proving to be effective against certain types of cancer and can be used as a treatment for patients that have relapsed after traditional treatments. As CAR T research progresses, we have seen multiple generations of constructs, adding different or multiple signaling domains, transmembrane domains and hinges, to go along with the antigen specific binders.

Searching the patent literature for CAR constructs can be challenging because of the common elements used for different generations of constructs, and also because the scFv portions of the CARs have likely been used in other therapeutic applications. During this webinar, we
